GAMBARAN KLINIS DAN SEROLOGIS PASIEN LUPUS ERITEMATOSUS SISTEMIK (LES) DEWASA DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG TAHUN 2021
Background. Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic autoimmune inflammatory disease which is also known as the "thousand faces" disease because it has a wide range of clinical manifestations as well as a varied course of disease and prognosis. The etiological mechanism of SLE is not fully understood, so there is often a mistake in recognizing lupus, causing delays in the diagnosis and management of cases. This study describes the clinical and serological features of adult SLE patients at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang in 2021. Method. This type of research is descriptive observational research. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the clinical and serological features of adult SLE patients at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang in 2021. The data used is secondary data in the form of medical records of adult SLE patients at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang during the period January 1st 2021 - December 31st 2021 who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results. The number of visits by SLE patients in 2021 in outpatient installations were 4,089 visits (97.7%), while in inpatient installations there were 95 visits (2.3%). Most of the adult SLE patients belong to the age group of 18-44 years (90.5%), the majority are female (92.9%). The most common clinical feature is arthritis (76.2%). Most had positive anti-dsDNA test results (81.0%) and almost all of them had positive ANA test results (97.6%). Patients with two clinical features are the patients with the highest number (42.9%). Conclusion. The number of SLE patient visits in 2021 in outpatient installations is far greater than inpatients. Adult SLE patients are mostly women of childbearing age. The most common clinical feature is arthritis. Most had positive anti-dsDNA test results. Nearly all had positive ANA test results.
