This research is entitled "Effectiveness of Mobile Family Planning Service Program in Palembang City." The background of this research is the lack of public awareness for family planning and the lack of information from socialization regarding mobile family planning services. The purpose of this study was to measure the effectiveness of the Mobile Family Planning Service Program in the city of Palembang and to determine the relationship between the characteristics of the respondents and the effectiveness of the Mobile Family Planning Service Program. This research uses the concept of program effectiveness according to Budiani, which consists of 4 indicators, namely the Accuracy of Program Targets, Program Socialization, Achievement of Program Objectives and Program Monitoring. This research uses Mix Methods with sequential explanatory strategy. Data collection techniques used are documentation, interviews and questionnaires. The sample of this study amounted to 100 respondents. The results showed that the effectiveness of the mobile family planning service program in the city of Palembang was categorized as very effective with a score of 81.45%. However, the program socialization indicator has the lowest score, which is 79.10% compared to other indicators. The results of the cross tabulation show that only respondent's age characteristics are related to program socialization indicators and age characteristics are related to program goal achievement indicators. The results of this study recommend that the socialization of mobile family planning services should be further improved to the community, especially those with an age range of >35 years so that family planning instructors use language that is easy to understand by taking into account the local wisdom of the local community, as well as better coordination and cooperation between the Population Control and Family Planning Office. Palembang City, family planning drivers, local District Apparatus Organizations and all related partners so that Mobile Family Planning services are even better in the future.
