SEKURITISASI JARINGAN NARKOBA ASAL MALAYSIA OLEH BNN PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
Drug trafficking which is a transnational crime is very worrying because it threatens national and even international security. Southeast Asia, which is the largest drug trafficking area in Asia with the Golden Triangle syndicate, threatens the security of the surrounding countries, including Indonesia. Indonesia with so many rat lanes and areas that are prone to lack of guard make Indonesia an easy target for drug trafficking across countries, it is known that 70% of drugs that enter Indonesian territory are drugs from Malaysia.Regions in Indonesia that cannot be separated from cross-country drug trafficking, especially drugs from Malaysia, including the South Sumatra region. South Sumatra is an area of water surrounded by rivers, making it easier for drug suppliers to circulate drugs into South Sumatra, and 80% of cross-border drug cases that enter South Sumatra are from Malaysia. This study aims to explain how the securitization process by the National Narcotics Agency of South Sumatra Province against the threat of drugs from Malaysia. In this study, using an approach to the theory of securitization theory. The results in this study that the BNN of South Sumatra Province made a speech act effort, then it was accepted by the community at the acceptance by audience stage, so that extraordinary measures could be carried out and it can be concluded that the efforts or processes carried out by the BNN of South Sumatra Province in making the issue of drug networks from Malaysia are a threat to the people of South Sumatra is quite fruitful, because the people of South Sumatra believe and believe that the issue is a threat and the people of South Sumatra fully support the efforts made by the BNN of South Sumatra Province. However, in the end result or eradication, there are still difficulties because these Malaysian drugs form a large network from the dealer to the courier so that the disclosure is still not optimal because it cannot be fully disclosed.
