This study aims to discuss the roles of the United Cities and Local Government Asia Pacific (UCLG ASPAC) in realizing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Musi Banyuasin Regency. This research uses the concept of Roles of International organization by Clive Archer through instrumental and facilitator roles which consist of capacity building. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative. Sources of data collected by the authors are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are carried out by conducting interviews and documentation from various sources that already exist. The result of this study indicate that the roles of the United Cities and Local Government Asia Pacific (UCLG ASPAC) in realizing of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Musi Banyuasin Regency is carried out through to instrumental and facilitator role based on the concept proposed by Clive Archer, that is capacity building.
