HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DAN RESILIENSI TERHADAP ACADEMIC BURNOUT PADA MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN DOKTER ANGKATAN 2019-2021 FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA.
Academic burnout is a serious problem in students which is characterized as emotional exhaustion, cynicism, and academic ineffectiveness. Academic burnout is caused by students' continual exposure to internal and external pressures that have a negative impact on their wellbeing. There are protective factors that can help to reduce severity of academic burnout, such as social support and resilience. The goal of this research was to examine the association between social support and academic burnout resilience among medical education students from the 2019-2020 academic year at the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University. This research utilised a cross sectional technique and is an observational analytic research. Assessment of social support utilizing the MSPSS questionnaire, resilience utilizing the ARS-30 questionnaire, and academic burnout utilizing the MBI-SS questionnaire. Based on this research, it was found that the majority of FK Unsri students were at moderate levels of academic burnout, social support, and resilience. The results of this research show that there is a negative correlation between social support and resilience variables towards academic burnout. Furthermore, the variable that contributes the most to the academic burnout degree of FK Unsri students is resilience. The research hypothesis states that there is a significant relationship between social support and resilience to academic burnout is accepted. Increasing social support and student resilience will have an impact on reducing the severity of academic burnout and vice versa.
