Academic burnout is a serious problem in students which is characterized as emotional exhaustion, cynicism, and academic ineffectiveness. Academic burnout is caused by students' continual exposure to internal and external pressures that have a negative impact on their wellbeing. There are protective factors that can help to reduce severity of academic burnout, such as social support and resilience. The goal of this research was to examine the association between social support and academic burnout resilience among medical education students from the 2019-2020 academic year at the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University. This research utilised a cross sectional technique and is an observational analytic research. Assessment of social support utilizing the MSPSS questionnaire, resilience utilizing the ARS-30 questionnaire, and academic burnout utilizing the MBI-SS questionnaire.
