PENGARUH TERPAAN IKLAN TELEVISI PENCEGAHAN PENULARAN COVID-19 TERHADAP PERILAKU MASYARAKAT (STUDI PADA MASYARAKAT KELURAHAN SUKAMORO, KECAMATAN TALANG KELAPA, KABUPATEN BANYUASIN)
This study aims to determine the effect of television advertisements to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 on community behavior carried out on the rt.09 community of Sukamoro village, Banyuasin regency. The emergence of the Covid-19 disease outbreak has made the government have to provide education to the public about clean and healthy new habitual behaviors. Television is still used by various walks of life as a reliable source of information. Therefore, the government aired advertisements to prevent the transmission of covid-19 on television. This research uses the theory of cultivation from George Gerbner and the theory of social learning from Albert Bandura & Richard Walters. Quantitative research methods are applied to this study using data analysis techniques. The data collection techniques used are observation, dissemination of questionnaires and documentation. The results of a study that has been carried out on 80 respondents show that there is a positive and significant influence of television advertisements to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 on community behavior.
