This study discusses resource mobilization by Genius Yatim Mandiri Studio as a learning companion for the orphans and the dhuafa in terms of the activities conducted in Meranjat I Village South Indralaya district Ogan Ilir Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The techniques employed for data collection were observation, purposive interview, and documentation. The study analysis used theory about resource mobilization from Edward and McCarthy. The study result shows that the implementation activities of Genius Yatim Mandiri Studio were 1) daily activities, free tutoring for mathematics and moral development; 2) the monthly meeting activities for the studio development report, 3) annual activities such as math Olympics and new programs for the orphans and the dhuafa in the form of ICMBS scholarship. In carrying out the activities described, this movement mobilizes the moral, cultural, human, and material resources of Genius Yatim Mandiri Studio to assist the orphans and the dhuafa. The supporting factors for this movement are 1) the meranjat I village government support, 2) the support from donors, and 3) the support from the orphans and dhuafa’s families, while the inhibiting factors are 1) the difficulties of getting the orphans and dhuafa, 2) the same scheduled activities, and 3) lack of participation of the children in learning.
