TINGKAT KEPUASAN PELAYANAN PEMASANGAN DAN EFEK SAMPING IBU SELAMA PEMAKAIAN ALAT KONTRASEPSI IUD PADA PROGRAM CONTRACEPTIVE TECHNOLOGY UPDATE PRE-SERVICE TRAINING SUMATERA SELATAN TAHUN 2022.
Background: The Contraceptive Technology Update (CTU) Pre-Service Training Program is one of the vessels to increase Indonesian medical students' knowledge and practice their skills about contraceptives, one of which is IUD. Evaluating the mother satisfaction level of installation services and side effects during IUD usage in this program can be used as a suggestion to improve this program in the future. Methods: This descriptive observational research with survey study was conducted at Multiwahana, Alang-Alang Lebar, Pembina, and 5 Ilir Public Health Centre in Palembang and Sungai Dua, Rambutan, Sungsang, and Tanjung Api-Api Public Health Centre in Banyuasin. The total sample that met the inclusion criteria was 33 mothers. Data obtained will be analyzed using the 26th version of SPSS as a frequency distribution table. Results: The majority of sociodemographic characteristics among mothers participating in IUD installation services in the CTU Pre-Service Training South Sumatra 2022 program are the age group > 35 years (51.5%), elementary school graduates (39.4%), mothers with married status (100%), non-working mother (72.7%), and mothers with parity >2 (81.8%). Conclusion: Overall, mothers who participated in IUD installation services in the Contraceptive Technology Update (CTU) Pre-Service Training Program South Sumatra 2022 felt "very satisfied" (92,65%) with the services provided. On the other hand, the majority of side effects categories that mothers complained about after 1 and 3 months of IUD usage are mild.
