POLA PARTISIPASI PEREMPUAN DALAM PROSES PEMEKARAN DESA/NAGARI (Studi Kasus Di Kecamatan Gunung Tuleh Kabupaten Pasaman Barat Provinsi Sumatera Barat)
This qualitative study aims to elaborate on the pattern of women's participation in the process of village-nagari division in Kenagarian Rabi Jonggor, Gunung Tuleh District, West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra Province. Data were collected through interviews, documentation, observation and analyzed using gender analysis techniques developed by Longwe in Handayani and Sugiarti (2008). The results of this study indicate that in Kenagarian Rabi Jonggor the role of women is only about 30% for government and community organizations. Some women have participated in PKK activities, Bundo Kanduang and some prefer to stay at home, resulting in an imbalance in the roles of women and men. The Longwe Gender Analysis technique has five dimensions consisting of the Welfare Dimension, Access Dimension, Critical Awareness Dimension, Participation Dimension and Control Dimension. each dimension used is neutral, which means that women have been involved in several activities such as PKK, Bundo Kanduang and work as administrative officers in the government, but in terms of decision making, women do not have full power because men have full power. The researcher recommends that the nagari, sub-district and district governments make several regulations that require the nagari to equalize between men and women so that there are no gaps that cause women to become backward.
