HUBUNGAN STATUS SOSIAL EKONOMI PETANI KARET DAN POLA MAKAN TERHADAP KEJADIAN HIPERTENSI PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19
Hypertension is often referred to as The Silent Disease because it is often asymptomatic, so people with hypertension do not know that they have hypertension. Hypertension mostly occurs in people with low sosioeconomic status.Social-economic statusalso effects patterns eating.Patterns eating gives the biggest contribution to hypertension. The research aimed to find out the relationship between the socioeconimic status of rubber farmers and patterns eating and hypertension in COVID-19 pandemic. In this research uses an analytical quantitative research design using a cross sectional approach.The sample in this study were 75 respondents taken as the samples by using simple random sampling technique that meets the criteria of inclusions.In this study instrument uses a sosioeconomic status quetionnaire and patterns eating quetionnaire,and use a shygmomanomater device to measure blood pressure. Statistical analysis using chi square test. Based on the result of the socioeconomic status variable, the p-value of 0,000 (p < 0,05) was obtained amd the result of the statistical test of the patterns eating variable obtained the p-value 0,001 ( p < 0,05). This shows that there is a significant relationship between the socioeconomic status of rubber farmers and patterns eating on the incidence of hypertension. In this study hypertension was associated with low socioeconomic status an unhealthy eating patterns. It is hoped that people will pay more attention to their health status and maintain their patterns eating so as to minimize the incidence of hypertension.
