The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is still growing, causing hundreds of millions of worldwide infections. The effects of COVID-19 infection were initially thought to be limited to the respiratory system. However, recent literature suggests that the virus has systemic effects, even causing cognitive impairment. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of cognitive function after recovering from COVID-19 in students of the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University class of 2019. This research was a descriptive study and used primary data from the results of MoCA-Ina conducted on students after recovering from COVID-19 at the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University class of 2019. This study found that post-recovery students from COVID-19 had the most distribution at the age of 21 (61.2%) and the female sex (64.2%). Most post-recovered students from COVID-19 were confirmed with COVID-19 in the period January 2022 – June 2022 (73.1%), onset recovered from COVID-19 3-12 months (80.6%), had mild symptoms (94%), and outpatients (98.5%). Based on the MoCA-Ina examination, most students scored MoCA-Ina 30 (59.7%) and had a normal cognitive domain (57.1%). Students after recovering from COVID-19 who had a decrease in MoCA-Ina scores are all within normal range. This decrease was primarily found in the memory domain (34.3%).
