Osteoarthritis (OA) is a progressive degenerative inflammatory disease characterized by the destruction of cartilage, the formation of osteophytes, subchondral sclerosis, as well as synovitis. Degrees based on Kellgren-Lawrence can monitor disease progression and estimate the severity of knee OA. This study was conducted to determine the relationship of OA risk factors with Kellgren-Lawrence degrees in knee OA patients. This study was an observational analytics with a cross-sectional design using primary and secondary data. The study population was knee OA patients at the Su'adah Clinic in Palembang from October to November 2022 who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. There was a significant relationship between age (p=0.024), history of joint injury (p=0.033), family history (p=0.033) and history of overweight and obesity (p=0.020) with the Kellgren-Lawrence grading scale in patients with knee OA. Age, history of joint injuries, family history and history of overweight and obesity are associated with Kellgren-Lawrence grading scale in knee OA patients. Keywords: Knee osteoarthritis, risk factors, Kellgren-Lawrence grading scale
