HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN, SIKAP, DAN TINDAKAN TERHADAP COVID-19 PASCA GELOMBANG KETIGA COVID-19 PADA ANAK SEKOLAH DI SMA YPI TUNAS BANGSA PALEMBANG
THE RELATIONSHIP OF KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE, AND PRACTICE TOWARD COVID-19 POST THIRD WAVE OF COVID-19 AMONG SCHOOL STUDENTS IN SMA YPI TUNAS BANGSA PALEMBANG (Marena Widya M, 28 December 2022, 104 Pages) Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University Background: COVID-19 emerged in December 2019 from China was caused by a SARS-CoV-2 and is called a pandemic because of its very fast transmission between humans. One of the efforts to prevent COVID-19 is adherence with health protocols that are influenced by knowledge, attitudes, practice, and practice toward COVID-19, especially among school students. This study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, practice, and implementation of practice toward COVID-19 post third wave of COVID-19 among school students in SMA YPI Tunas Bangsa Palembang. Methods: This is an analytic observational study cross-sectional using simple random sampling. The research location is at SMA YPI Tunas Bangsa Palembang. The data used is primary data from the results of filling out questionnaires with a sample of 115 respondents. The collected data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate using chi-square test. Results: The majority of respondents have good knowledge, attitudes, practice and implementation of practice toward COVID-19. Chi-square test results with p value= 0,024 for the relationship between knowledge and attitude, p value= 0,455 for the relationship between knowledge and practice, p value= 0,201 for the relationship between attitude and practice, p value= 1,000 for the relationship between practice and implementation of practice, p value= 0,939 for the relationship between gender and practice, and p value= 0,161 for the relationship between confirmed history of COVID-19 and practice. All variables have a p value >0,05, meaning that there was no significant relationship except for knowledge and attitudes which have a significant relationship. Conclusion: There was no significant relationship between knowledge, attitudes, practice, and implementation of practice toward COVID-19 post third wave of COVID-19 among school students in SMA YPI Tunas Bangsa Palembang.
