HUBUNGAN KARAKTERISTIK SOSIODEMOGRAFI DAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TERHADAP KEJADIAN PEDIKULOSIS KAPITIS DI PONDOK PESANTREN NURUL QOMAR PALEMBANG.
Introduction: Pediculosis capitis is a disease of the scalp or human hair caused by an infestation of Pediculus humanus var. capitis. Pediculosis capitis spreads very quickly in crowded environments, such as Islamic boarding schools and orphanages. This study aims to determine the relationship between sociodemographic characteristics and level of knowledge on the incidence of pediculosis capitis at the Nurul Qomar Islamic Boarding School Palembang. Method: This study is an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design. The sample of this study was obtained by total sampling. The number of samples was 146 students who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data regarding sociodemographic characteristics and level of knowledge were obtained from filling out questionnaires. Data processing using SPSS with univariate and bivariate analysis.
