EFEKTIVITAS MEDIA(STUDI TERHADAP APLIKASI LAYANAN ASPIRASI DAN PENGADUAN ONLINE RAKYAT! “SP4N LAPOR!” PEMERINTAH KOTA PALEMBANG DALAM MELAYANI PENGADUAN PELAYANAN PUBLIK)
This study tested the effectiveness of the SP4N LAPOR! as a service provider for delivering public aspirations to various public and government agencies. The formulation of the problem in this research is how effective the SP4N LAPOR! as a communication medium for the Palembang City Government in serving complaints and services to the public. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the SP4N LAPOR! based on the theory of media effectiveness described by Bruhn, Schoenmueller, and Schafer. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires distributed to 85 respondents. The results showed that the SP4N LAPOR! as a medium of public service communication, it is quite affective based on the results of the analysis using the heory by Bruhn et al (2012) model. The advantages of the SP4N LAPOR application! as a communication medium for public services, it is a process that is practically offered to the public in expressing their aspirations, especially since this application has been connected to 34 ministries, 96 institutions, and 493 regions, including the Palembang City Government. As for the drawbacks of the SP4N LAPOR! as a medium of public service communication is the length of the process of submitting reports to feedback from targeted agencies which can take 7-10 days.
