FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI ATONIA UTERI PADA KEJADIAN PERDARAHAN POSTPARTUM DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG PERIODE JANUARI 2019–JULI 2022
Uterine atony is the inability of the myometrial muscle fibers of the uterine corpus to contract adequately in response to the release of endogenous oxytocin during labour. Uterine atony is caused by anything that interferes with the uterus' ability to contract and retract. This study aims to determine the relationship between age, parity, prolonged labor, macrosomia, gemelli, hydramnios, induction of labor, history of postpartum hemorrhage, and type of delivery to uterine atony in the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage at RSUP dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang on January 2019–July 2022. This study is an observational analytic study with a case control design. This study used secondary data from medical records of obstetric patients at RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang January 2019–July 2022 that met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteri. The study sample amounted to 52 people consisting of 13 cases and 39 controls. The results of bivariate analysis using the chi-square test and the fisher exact alternative test showed that age (p=0.019 had a significant relationship with uterine atony on incidence of postpartum hemorrhage. Parity (p=0.510), prolonged labor (p=0.157), macrosomia (p=1.000), gemelli (p=1.000), hydramnios (p=1.000), induction of labor (p=0.441) and type of delivery (p=1.000) did not have a significant relationship with uterine atony on incidence of postpartum hemorrhage. It can be concluded that a age was risk factors for uterine atony on incidence of postpartum hemorrhage. Keywords: Risk factors, uteri atonia, age, parity, prolonged labor, macrosomia, gemelli, hydramnios, induction of labor, history of postpartum hemorrhage, and type of delivery
