This research is entitled "The Phenomenon of the proliferation of Silver Man and Puppet Man in Palembang City". The problem in this research is that more and more people paint their bodies using Silver Paint so that people call them "Silver Humans" and people who use Doll Clothes, they do that with the aim of raising money in order to survive everyday. However, the government has banned what they are doing but in reality the “Silver Man” still exists and is more and more. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. This research uses Erfing Goffman's Dramaturgy Theory. Data obtained through Observation, Interview and Documentation. The results showed that being a silver man and a puppet man was not the main choice of research informants found in the field. However, a compulsion because of the economic pressure to fulfill the necessities of life. Keyword: Silver Man, Puppet Man, Palembang City
