This study is entitled "Social Capital of the Melati Women Farmer Group (KWT) in Strengthening Community Food Security in Sukamulya Village, Palembang City". The main problem of this research is the Social Capital of the Melati Farmer Women's Group in Strengthening Community Food Security. This study was analyzed using the social capital theory from Putnam. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using a case study research strategy. The collection of data was obtained in this study through in-depth interviews with 11 informants, passive participatory observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that social capital is used by the Melati Women Farmer Group to achieve success and overcome food security problems in the Utilization of Land Use (P2L) activities such as mutual cooperation, reciprocity, solidarity, networking, participation, proactive action, values , and norm. The Melati Women Farmers Group achieving success has the network and collaboration built by the Melati Women Farmers Group with Field Agricultural Extension (PPL) in providing financial assistance, outreach, and assistance in the process of P2L activities and the collaboration that is built with Middlemen can provide benefits, namely increasing the Group's economy Jasmine Farmer Woman. Women Farmer Groups are able to optimize P2L activities in overcoming problems during rainy and dry weather by using forms of social capital so that Women Farmer Groups get maximum results in the process of Utilization of Land Use (P2L) activities in Sukamulya Village, Palembang City.
