FAKTOR RISIKO PROGRESIVITAS PENYAKIT GINJAL KRONIK PADA ANAK SINDROM NEFROTIK IDIOPATIK DI RSUP DR MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG.
Background: Nephrotic syndrome (NS) is one of the most common kidney diseases in children. NS can cause complications that are divided into two, which are infections and non-infections. Infections can include upper respiratory tract infections and urinary tract infections, while non-infections include edema, acute kidney injury, and hypertension. This research aims to determine the effect of risk factors of age, gender, nutritional status, hypertension, hematuria, acute kidney injury, hyperfiltration, and steroid sensitivity on chronic kidney disease (CKD) progressivity in pediatric patients with idiopathic NS of initial onset in the Pediatric Ward of Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang. Method: This research is an observational analytic study. The data used were daily reports from the pediatric nephrology department as secondary data. Result: Risk factors for CKD progression in children with idiopathic SN of initial onset in the hospitalization department of the Pediatric Ward of Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Hospital January 2018-December 2021 showed that age, gender, nutritional status, hematuria, acute kidney injury, and steroid sensitivity did not have a significant correlation with CKD progression. Hypertension and hyperfiltration have a significant correlation with CKD progression. Conclusion: Risk factors in children with idiopathic SN with initial onset were found to be the most age > 10 years, male and female gender were found to be equal, the most nutritional status was non-obese, there was hypertension, no hematuria, AKI, and hyperfiltration, and in children with steroid resistance. Age, gender, nutritional status, hematuria, acute kidney injury, and steroid sensitivity did not have a significant correlation with CKD progression. Hypertension and hyperfiltration had a significant correlation with CKD progression. Keywords: Nephrotic Syndrome, Chronic Kidney Disease Progression
