APLIKASI TERAPI MURROTTAL AL-QUR'AN PADA ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PASIEN EFUSI PLEURA
Patients with pleural effusion usually experience chest pain that arises due to increased effusion or accumulation of fluid in the pleural cavity. The chest pain felt by the patient may increase according to the disease process or invasive measures such as thoracentesis in patients with pleural effusion. Uncontrollable pain can increase vital signs, so that it can slowing the healing process. The purpose of this study is to apply comprehensive nursing care, especially in patients with pleural effusion. The method used is descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach in three patients managed. The results of this study indicate that there are 7 diagnoses that appear consisting of 6 actual diagnoses and 1 risk diagnosis. One of the interventions for the three patients being managed is pain management by giving murottal Surah Ar-Rahman therapy which is sung to the rhythm of Bayati by a Qori. Bayati rhythm is a rhythm that is soft, flexible up and down, constant, regular, and full of appreciation which can bring calm, minimize anxiety, and can cause a relaxation response so as to reduce pain complaints felt by the patient. After giving murottal Al-qur'an therapy for three consecutive days during the day with a duration of 16 minutes 16 seconds, the pain scale for Mr. T is from 5 (moderate pain) to 0 (no pain), Mr. H pain scale from 4 (moderate pain) to 0 (no pain), and Mr. A on a pain scale of 4 (moderate pain) to 0 (no pain). The conclusion is that giving murottal Al-Quran Surah Ar-Rahman therapy with Bayati rhythm has an effect on decreasing the scale of chest pain felt by patients with pleural effusion.
