KONSENTRASI KADMIUM (CD) DAN TIMBAL (PB) PADA DAGING KERANG DARAH ANADARA GRANOSA LINN DI SEKITAR PERAIRAN TAMAN NASIONAL BERBAK SEMBILANG KABUPATEN BANYUASIN, SUMATERA SELATAN
Berbak Sembilang National Park is a mangrove forest functioned as habitat marine resources, one of which is the blood clam (Anadara granosa). Waste originating from land and surrounding waters contains heavy metals such as Pb and Cu which can affect organisms. Blood clams have the potential to be used as bioindicators of pollution such as heavy metals in water because blood clams have the ability to accumulate heavy metals. The study was conducted from November 2021 to May 2022. Sample preparation was carried out at the Laboratory of the Biology Department, FMIPA Sriwijaya University and Heavy Metal Analysis was carried out at the Research and Industrial Standardization Center (Baristand) of South Sumatra Province. Heavy metal concentrations were analyzed using the SSA-Flame method. The purpose of this study was to determine and compare the concentration of heavy metals Pb and Cd in blood clam meat (Anadara granosa) obtained around the river waters of the Sembilang Banyuasin National Park, South Sumatra based on the quality standard of SNI 7387 in 2009. The sampling method used In this study, purposive random sampling and exploratory interviews were taken. Samples were taken from fishermen who caught shellfish, the data was supported through interview techniques with a questionnaire guide considering the sampling location based on the number of blood clams (Anadara granosa) the sampling locations were the Barong River and the Freshwater River. The results showed that the concentration of blood clams for Pb 1.26 mg/kg while Cd 0.52 mg/kg from both concentrations was still low below the quality standard threshold according to SNI 7387 in 2009 due to several factors, namely the weather that caused waves. and strong currents, the size and age of the clams and far from settlements, cities and industries, although they are still categorized according to the threshold, but the blood clams have indicated heavy metals if consumed continuously will cause impaired body function.
