PENGARUH PADAT TEBAR YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BENIH IKAN KAKAP PUTIH (Lates calcarifer) DI BALAI BESAR PERIKANAN BUDIDAYA LAUT PROVINSI LAMPUNG
White snapper (Lates Calcarifer) is one of the leading commodities and has high economic value in Indonesia. It is feared that the high market demand could lead to overfishing of white snapper in the wild. The Lampung Marine Cultivation Fisheries Center (BBPBL) when it has run aquaculture business with adequate technology, one of the cultivated commodities is white snapper. The problem that often becomes a complaint for farmers is the selection of the best stocking density during the maintenance process. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of different stocking densities and water quality on the growth of white snapper seeds. This study used the RAL method (Completely Randomized Design) with 1 fiber tub pool installed with a 50 x 50 x 45 cm waring. The results of the growth measurements were then analyzed using the Analysis of Varie (ANOVA) test. The results showed that different stocking densities had no significant effect on growth in length and weight. Treatment C with a stocking density of 30 individuals was the best stocking density with an average weight growth of 0.43 ± 0.52 g and a length of 0.14 ± 0.071 cm, and 100% survival. The ANOVA test for growth in length and weight showed that the results were not significantly different from F count < F table. Water quality parameters during maintenance showed good values and were suitable for the growth of barramundi.
