RANCANG BANGUN PENDETEKSI MELAMIN PADA ALAT MAKAN BERBAHAN MELAMIN BERBASIS MIKROKONTROLER ARDUINO NANO
The Utilization of melamine as an ingredient in making cutlery carries the risk of danger if it is contaminated with food consumed by humans. Therefore, this study aims to make a device that can detect exposure to melamine concentrations in melamine-based cutlery. How the device work is to detect exposure to melamine concentrations using melamine Molecularly Imprinted Polymer (MIP) that behaves as a sensor and is connected to the reference electrode (Ag / AgCl). MIP is made by the cooling-heating method. Melamine exposure is detected as a potential difference between the sensor and the reference electrode and is measured by the ADS1115 component. The result of the potential difference (voltage) detected becomes a database to determine the conversion value of the device. The device converts voltage to the output concentration displayed on the OLED component. The detection device that has been made can detect melamine with a measurement range of 1-15 ppm. Based on the Australian Pesticides & Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA), the device is quite accurate with an accuracy value guided by percent recovery estimated (90-110) %, precision value seen from the Relative Standard Deviation (RSD) is less than 5%, and the accuracy level reaches 10-5 Volts. The device has been used to detect 3 samples of melamine-based cutlery that differ in usage time. Of the three cutlery samples tested, sample C which had been used for ± 20 years had the highest melamine exposure concentration value (6.09363 ppm) compared to sample A (± 3 years) and sample C (± 10 years).
