ANALISIS EKSERGI SISTEM PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA UAP DI PT PLN (PERSERO) UNIT PLTGU INDRALAYA SUMATERA SELATAN.
Exergy analysis is the first step in optimizing a system by knowing the level of efficiency and the irreversibility value of a component, involving the first law and second law of thermodynamics so that exergy analysis is not only focused on quantity but also on quality. This study aims to examine each component of the PLTU at PT PLN (Persero) PLTGU Indralaya South Sumatra unit, to obtain efficiency values and to determine the irreversibility of each component to be analyzed. The assumption used in processing the exergy analysis data in this study is that each component is assumed to be steady state and the kinetic, potential, chemical, PLTG and HRSG exergy values are ignored. From the analysis that has been done, it is found that the component that has the highest efficiency level is the high pressure drum as much as 98.7584 %, then followed by the deaerator with the efficiency of 98.3893%, and the steam turbine of 96.918%. The component with the lowest efficiency value is in the condenser as much as 25.307% this is influenced by the steam coming out of the steam turbine after the expansion is carried out.
