Rubber (Hevea brasiliensis Mull. Arg.) is one of plants that is a source of natural rubber production. The biosynthesis of rubber plants is influenced by various hormones, one of which is the ethylene which was identified to be able to increase the production latex of rubber. Ethylene is a hormone that is active in the fruit ripening process. Naturally, ethylene compounds are contained in plant tissues and their levels increase in climacteric fruit tissues. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organic stimulants from several types of climacteric fruit peel extract on different size of rubber stem diameter to production latex of rubber. This research was conducted from April to June 2022 at a rubber plantation of Talang Tumbur village, Talang ubi barat sub-district, Talang ubi district, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) regency, South Sumatra province. Analysis of dry latex and dry rubber content was carried out at the Physiology and Development Laboratory, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Sriwijaya University. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) which carried out 5 treatments and 5 replications. The research parameters included volume of latex, weight of lump latex, and percentage of dry rubber content (DRC). The data obtained was then analyzed statistically using analysis of variance (Anova), then followed by Duncan's multiple range test at 5% level. The results of the analysis of variance (ANOVA) with Duncan's test at 5% level showed that the treatment of organic stimulants from several types of climacteric fruit peel extract had a significant effect on increasing the yield of latex volume production, and the weight of rubber latex lumps compared to control treatment. All treatments of giving organic stimulants from several types of climacteric fruit peel extracts have the potential to increase rubber latex production. The size of rubber stem diameter had a significant effect on increasing the yield of latex volume production, and the weight of rubber latex lumps, where the larger rubber stem diameter, then the higher production latex of rubber. Keywords: Rubber (Hevea brasiliensis), Latex, Ethylene, Climacteric Fruit Peel
