Mangrove has the ability to accumulate heavy metals in aquatic ecosystems. Air Telang Protected Forest is a dominant coastal area that is used by local people in various activities such as fishing, industrial activities, household waste disposal, settlements, port and water transportation. Human activities around Air Telang Protected Forest can cause the potential for heavy metal pollution. This research was conducted from August 2021 to July 2022 in Air Telang Protected Forest, Banyuasin, South Sumatra and aims to obtain data on the values of lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu) found in roots, bark and leaves as well as the value of the Bioconcentration Factor (BCF), Translocation Factor (TF) and Phytoremediation (FTD) on the Air Telang Protected Forest.
