PENERAPAN MOTOR LISTRIK BRUSHLESS DIRECT CURRENT HUB PADA MOTOR BAKAR KONVENSIONAL
Vehicles are the main sector that is a supporting factor for the growth of the economy in a country. As the number of vehicles increases, the amount of fossil energy used will also increase. The way to overcome the use of fossil fuels is to reduce the use of fossil fuels themselves, one of which is by using electrical energy. Electrical energy is used to become motion energy using a DC motor. In this study, the source of electrical energy is obtained from the Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) Hub electric motor. The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of BLDC Hub electric motors on conventional motors and to determine the effect on fuel consumption and battery power. The research method used in this study is to measure the volume of fuel used and the power of the battery used. The results of this study indicate that the rate of fuel consumption is influenced by vehicles, drivers and traffic conditions. The 800 watt BLDC electric motor has a max speed of 50 km/hour. This causes the electric motor to act as an economical motor. The increase in the heat of combustion occurs when the gasoline motor and battery are combined with a mass of 20 kg, a speed of 30 km/hour at a distance of 8 km, which is 226.8 kJ on battery energy and 3343,421 kJ on pertalite combustion. The combination of the use of a gasoline motor and a battery is relatively efficient due to the help of a battery from an electric motor to achieve the required speed or power.
