Mangrove is a plant community that is in one area, with an alluvial mud substrate and can withstand a fairly high level of salinity. which is resistant to high salinity. The mangrove ecosystem is classified as an unstable area, because the ecosystem in it is easily damaged and difficult to recover. Damage that occurs in mangrove areas can occur due to external factors such as anthropogenic activities that are rife in almost all mangrove areas in the world. One of the efforts that can be done to repair the impact of damage to the mangrove ecosystem is by means of rehabilitation in the form of replanting mangrove species (mangroves). The Telang Air Protection Forest (HLAT) has decreased in area due to the many activities of the surrounding community to meet their economic needs. Utilization of the area in the form of land conversion, and exploitation of flora and fauna that live in it. Efforts have been made to deal with the impact of these activities, namely replanting at several points in the HLAT area. Monitoring in this study is used to see how big the impact of replanting has been, by comparing the diversity of macrozoobenthos species and the density of vegetation in the HLAT area which is still natural. The use of macrozoobenthos in observing the state of an area is generally done because macrozoobenthos can provide information about the condition of an area by observing one of which is the amount of diversity. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is based on natural H' above 1, while rehabilitation is below 1. However, there is no significant difference between the diversity of the two areas, which means that the condition of the mangrove rehabilitation area is close to the diversity value of the mangrove area. natural in terms of the number of species, but not yet close to the number of populations. The results that have been obtained from the data obtained show signs of success.
