Sriwijaya University is a public university in South Sumatra and is the No.1 largest campus in Indonesia. With the large forest area in UNSRI, it is not surprising that there are still many animals that live in it, including the Gray Silvered Leaf Monkey. Gray Silvered Leaf Monkey Trachypithecus cristatus is one of the protected primates, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.106/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/12/2018 concerning Protected Types of Plants and Animals. The purpose of this research was to study the behavior of the Gray Silvered Leaf Monkey Trachypithecus cristatus in the area of ​​the University of Swirijaya, Indralaya. The benefit of this research is to obtain behavioral data from the Silvered Leaf Monkey Trachypithecus cristatus in the Sriwijaya University campus area, Indralaya. The method used is by direct observation in the field by following the movement of the gray langur group. To determine the daily behavior of the Silvered Leaf Monkey ,the technique used is direct field observation using the focal animal sampling technique, namely recording the activities carried out by the Silvered Leaf Monkey at a predetermined time according to the observation parameters. The conclusion of this study is that the daily activity of the Silvered Leaf Monkey (Trachypithecus cristatus) in the Sriwijaya Indralaya University Campus area recorded was 7 behaviors with a total of 1,053 incidents. Eating activity was the largest activity in the observations with the peak time occurring in the range of 08.30 - 09.00 WIB, while voice activity was the least activity with peak incidence occurring in the afternoon when going to rest. Environmental parameters such as temperature and humidity of the surrounding environment greatly affect the activity of the Silvered Leaf Monkey.
