PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN TIMAH PUTIH MURNI PADA CORAN ALUMINIUM MURNI TERHADAP ENERGI AKTIVASI DAN OKSIDASI51181722065
Thermogravimetry analyzer is a tool for performing thermal analysis where the mass of the test material will be inversely proportional or directly proportional to the increasing temperature rate and time function (the temperature increases constantly). The results of the TGA test will be displayed in the form of a comparison graph between mass increase and time, a comparison graph between temperature mass and dta, as well as a graph of the ln k and 1/t relationships of the graph, so it can be known the oxidation point and activation energy required in each sample. The tool used in this research is the TG / DTA exstal SII 7300 at room temperature up to 900ºC with a constant heating rate (ramp) of 10ºC / min. The samples used are 4, namely pure aluminum, pure aluminum mixed with 2% Sn, pure aluminum mixed with 6% Sn, and pure aluminum mixed with 10% Sn. The activation energy required for each sample is as follows, pure aluminum is 64.242278 kJ/mol, pure aluminum is mixed with 2% Sn at -58.7026598 kJ/mol, pure aluminum is mixed with 6% Sn at -16.6271686 kJ/mol and pure aluminum is mixed with 10% Sn at 47.6841156 kJ/mol.
