FORMULASI MODEL SET COVERING PROBLEM DAN IMPLEMENTASI SIMULATED ANNEALING PADA PENENTUAN LOKASI TEMPAT PEMBUANGAN SEMENTARA SAMPAH DI KECAMATAN ALANG-ALANG LEBAR KOTA PALEMBANG
Garbage generation is influenced by various activities and standard of public living. The number of people who increase every year results in the amount of waste produced also increasing. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the location of temporary waste disposal sites (TPS). This study discusses optimizing the location of the waste TPS in Alang – Alang Lebar District. The problem is solved by formulating the Set Covering model which includes SCLP and P-Center Location Problem as well as the application of Simulated Annealing. Alang – Alang Lebar District consists of 25 TPS for waste. Based on the formulation of the Set Covering model and the application of the Simulated Annealing, 12 optimal TPS locations in Alang – Alang Lebar district were found to be placed for waste TPS to meet the demands of all existing urban villages. From the results obtained, the recommended location as the optimal waste TPS location is the result of the application of the Simulated Annealing. The optimal TPS of the Simulated Annealing algorithm is TPS Jl. Kota Baru, TPS Jl. Wilayah Kelurahan Karya Baru, TPS Jl. Pengadilan Tinggi, TPS Jl. Maskerebet Kanan Kiri, TPS Jl. Rama Raya, TPS Jl. Jepang, TPS Jl. Labi- Labi, TPS Jl. Maskerebet, TPS Pasar KM 12, TPS Samping Terminal KM 12, TPS Terminal KM 12, dan TPS Jl. Soekarno Hatta.
