PENERAPAN SENSOR ULTRASONIC SEBAGAI PENGHINDAR HALANGAN PADA PERANCANGAN ROBOT PEMADAM KEBAKARAN OTOMATIS
Robot is a mechanical device that can perform physical tasks with the aim of making it easier for humans to do dangerous work. This study aims to design a fire fighting robot using an ultrasonic sensor, then analyze how the ultrasonic sensor on the fire fighting robot overcomes the direction of the robot's motion so that it can run smoothly on the track until it finds a fire point. This fire fighting robot uses the ultrasonic sensor method to find out whether there are objects around the robot that block the direction of the robot's motion, the ultrasonic sensor will send a signal to the Arduino so that the robot can move through the trajectory until the robot gets a hotspot which is detected by the heat sensor. Robot measuring 27.5 cm and width of 15.4 cm with ultrasonic sensors set at a distance of 10 cm and 20 cm is a safe distance, because the robot does not hit the track wall and can determine the direction of its motion. So if the reading distance is greater from the specified object, the smaller the radius of the robot's turning direction and the robot's position when moving will be further away from the outer wall of the track. The smaller the reading distance of the object that is set, the greater the radius of the robot's turning direction and the robot's position when moving closer to the outer wall of the track.
