The use of database-based applications and the use of CIM (Computer Integrated Manufactured) theory by integrating the inventory of books contained in the reading room of the faculty of law and the central library of Sriwijaya University is an innovation that is useful for making it easier for students and the library. This study aims to build a database as a place to store and process book inventory in the reading room at the faculty of law using XAMPP, MySQL and SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System) software, develop a program related to the book inventory information system in the Sriwijaya University library based on the physical location of the book, and monitor the process of processing book inventory in the sriwijaya university library to improve the quality of information contained in the sriwijaya university library. The conclusions obtained after implementing a web-based system senayan library management system (SLiMS) in the reading room of the Faculty of Law, Sriwijaya University can facilitate management and examination without being limited by space and time constraints. Another benefit is that it can find out the receipt, circulation of books, and book stock that is accurate, fast and complete as well as a system that can be connected to the central library of Sriwijaya University using a predetermined inventory code format
