ANALISIS SISTEM IRIGASI RAWA LEBAK DESA SUNGAI LILIN KECAMATAN RANTAU BAYUR KABUPATEN BANYUASIN PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
The need for wider land to be used as rice fields is inversely proportional to the availability of existing land, contrary to the fact that many agricultural lands, especially rice fields, are experiencing narrowing due to the expansion of residential areas. This study aims to optimize the "Lebak" swamp land in Sungai Lilin Village for the needs of rice fields. Land optimization begins with the collection of primary and secondary data as initial data in planning. Irrigation network planning is carried out taking into account the topography and the surrounding natural conditions. Water requirements and water availability were analyzed to determine the appropriate cropping pattern. Evaluation of irrigation networks is also carried out to determine the danger of flooding that occurs. Flood simulation was carried out using Hec-Ras software to predict flood discharge and evaluate the planned network. The water requirement used has a maximum NFR value of 1.25 lt/sec/ha, the smallest reliable discharge occurs in September period 2 with a value of 42.50 lt/sec, the discharge modulus in Sungai Lilin Village is 4.62 lt/sec/ha. The dike and channel planned in Sungai Lilin Village are capable of facing normal conditions with dimensions of the embankment 3 m at the bottom of the channel, 1.5 m deep and 1.5 m high, while the secondary channel has a channel bottom width of 1 m accompanied by 1.51 m of channel depth, but with these dimensions The channel continues to experience overflows that occur when the highest flood discharge has a return period of 1 year with a period of 4.05 to 4.13 hours.
