BANGKITAN PERJALANAN DAN PENGGUNAAN METODE CPM (CRITICAL PATH METHOD) DALAM ANALISIS POLA PERJALANAN STUDI KASUS:KOTA PALEMBANG.
The rate of movement in big cities is in the spotlight for the study of transportation studies such as the city of Palembang which is dominated by trade and triggers developments in this region. The total population and area are directly proportional to the volume of motorized vehicles in the city of Palembang. This same amount certainly affects the movement of transportation in the city. This study was conducted to determine socio-economic characteristics, travel behavior patterns of people in urban areas, to find out the average travel time of people by age group through the Critical Path Method (CPM) and to obtain a modeling of the resulting trip generation. The final result of this study found that there are 11 parameters of the socio-economic characteristics of the people in the city of Palembang, with travel patterns that are reviewed based on the mode, purpose of travel, travel departures and peak hours from the age classification of 15-22, to the age of 54-61. Ages 15-22 to 46-53 years are included inproductive age who make an average transfer of 2 times with an average travel time of ±8 hours, and the farthest travel distance is seen at the age of 46-53, which is 8.9 km, while the shortest distance occurs at the age of 7-15 years, which is only 4.2 km. The trip generation model for each age classification has a total of 8 models. The trip generation model for general using the multiple linear analysis method is Y= 0.343 – 0.330 X1 + 0.325 X4 + 0.767X6 with the independent variable that influences it is X1 is total population, X4 the average household income/month and X6 is the Motor Mode. This generation model has an effect of 83.5% on the Y variable (Travel Generation in Palembang City).
