PEMETAAN ZONA POTENSI PENANGKAPAN IKAN MENGGUNAKAN DATA CITRA SATELIT AQUA MODIS DI WILAYAH PENGELOLAAN PERIKANAN NEGARA REPUBLIK INDONESIA (WPPNRI) 572
Fishery resource management can be improved by conducting an assessment of the Fishing Potential Ground (FPG) as the main basic step for Indonesian fisheries management. Based on the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation No. 18 of 2014 The State Fisheries Management Area of the Republic of Indonesia (WPPNRI) 572 covers the waters of the Indian Ocean in western of sumatera and the Sunda Strait which is one of the strategic fishing areas in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to analyze the distribution of Sea Surface Temperature (SPL) in WPPNRI 572 in 2018-2022 and analyze the distribution of chlorophyll-a in WPPNRI 572 in 2018-2022 and analyze the distribution pattern of the distribution of potential fishing zones in WPPNRI 572 from 2018-2022. This research was conducted using sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a data from the 2018-2022 Aqua-Modis imagery at WPPNRI 572 which was visualized per season, namely the west season, transition season I, east season, and transition season II. The results show that the waters of WPPNRI 572 in 2018-2022 have an average concentration of surface temperature in the optimum condition for waters, which is around 28 oC - 31 oC. The average concentration of chlorophyll-a is categorized as fairly fertile waters, which ranges from 0.2 to 1 mg/m3, while the distribution of ZPPI points is spread along coastal waters, the number of ZPPI points is abundant in 2019 due to the occurrence of El Nino and IOD phenomena (+) with the number of points reaching 3647 in the second transition season.
