KAJIAN PENGARUH LUBANG RESAPAN BIOPORI (LRB) DALAM PENGENDALIAN DEBIT LIMPASAN PADA PERUMAHAN DOSEN UNSRI KELURAHAN BUKIT LAMA
The danger of flooding in residential areas often occurs due to changes in land use from infiltration areas to watertight areas. One solution to overcome the danger of flooding in residential areas is biopore infiltration holes. Biopore infiltration hole technology serves to reduce rainwater runoff by increasing the absorption of water into the soil so as to minimize the occurrence of flooding. This study aims to determine the value of the infiltration rate before and after the use of biopore infiltration holes and the number of biopore infiltration holes to determine whether the use of biopore infiltration holes is effective in residential areas. This study took place in the UNSRI Lecturer Housing, Bukit Lama Village with an area of 102,251 m2 or about 10.2 hectares. The research method used for infiltration measurements using a double ring infiltrometer and PVC pipe with a diameter of 4 inches and a depth of 100 cm. Then, organic waste in the form of dry leaves was added and the infiltration measurement was started when the waste was decomposed for 7 days, 14 days, and 28 days. Based on the research that has been done, it is found that the increase in the infiltration rate value for each location is different because the soil type factor for each location is different. From the three locations, there was no increase in infiltration rate that reached 100%. Based on the results of the comparison of rainfall discharge and the existing canal discharge resulting in the entire runoff waterway so that the calculation of the number of biopore infiltration holes is carried out, the ideal number of biopore infiltration holes is >1000 holes. This proves that the application of biopore infiltration holes is not effectively used in residential areas unless there are other alternatives such as canal revitalization, and others.
