NORMALISASI SALURAN TERSIER DI DESA SUGIH WARAS KECAMATAN MUARA SUGIHAN KABUPATEN BANYUASIN.
Based on data from the BPS Banyuasin Regency in 2017, Muara Sugihan Regency is the second largest rice contributor in Banyuasin. One of the rice-producing villages in Muara Sugihan District is Sugih Waras Village. Rice farmers there still plant rice once a year (IP 100). The problem in rice cultivation there is that its productivity is still low due to the declining performance of the irrigation network there. The number of channels that experience siltation is caused by sediment deposits and the large number of wild plants in the tertiary canal which makes the water flow not smooth. In this case, normalization activities are needed to return the irrigation function to its original condition so that the channel can operate normally, so that water flows properly to meet the needs of farmers. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the BMKG Kenten Station, Palembang City. In this study, hydrological analysis was carried out, namely calculating evapotranspiration (ETp) using the Makkink method, rice field water requirements (IR), irrigation water requirements (NFR), waster modulus (Dm) and planned discharge (Qr). For hydraulics analysis, analysis of existing sections, design of new channel sections, then simulations are carried out using HEC RAS. The values obtained from hydrological analysis, evapotranspiration (Etp) 2,516 - 3,208 mm/day, paddy water requirement (IR) 8.63 mm/day, highest irrigation water requirement (NFR) 1.25 mm/day, waster modulus (Dm) 4,314 lt/s.ha and the design discharge ranges from 0.102 – 0.122 m3/s. For hydraulic analysis, the bottom width is 0.41 m to 0.45 m, the top width is 2.04 m to 2.15 m and the height is 0.41 m to 0.45 m with a safe height of 0.4 m. The channel elevation before normalization ranged from 19.35 m to 19.999 m and the channel elevation after normalization ranged from 19.05 m to 19.810 m.
