ZONA POTENSIAL PENANGKAPAN IKAN PADA KEJADIAN ENSO (El Nino Southern Oscillation) MENGGUNAKAN CITRA MODIS LEVEL 3 DI PERAIRAN TAMAN NASIONAL SEMBILANG DAN SEKITARNYA
The Waters of Sembilang National Park and surrounding areas, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra are mangrove forest areas that have potential in the fisheries resources of the Banyuasin community. The abundance of fish is influenced by many natural phenomena such as ENSO. The occurrence of the ENSO phenomenon causes the sea surface temperature to change and has an impact of fish life patterns. The confluence of chlorophyll-a and sea surface temperatures (SST) that produce optimal values can be a reference in determining potensial fishing zones. The purpose of this study is to analyze ZPPI at ENSO (La Nina and El Nino) and normal events in 2011-2016 using MODIS Level 3 imagery in the Waters of Sembilang National Park and its Surroundings. The results showed that the ZPPI points in La Nina conditions amounted to 883 points, normal conditions amounted to 999 points and El Nino as many as 804 points. The high and low ENSO value in each condition is stated to have little effect on the number of ZPPI distribution points
