DESAIN KONSEPTUAL REAKTOR CEPAT BERPENDINGIN KARBONDIOKSIDA SUPERKRITIS (S-CO2 ) DENGAN BAHAN BAKAR URANIUM METALIK ALAM (U-10%wt Zr)
This research discuss design of a fast reactor core with S-CO2 as a coolant and natural metallic uranium as a fuel, which can operate for a long time (long-time reactor). Method composing ingredient burn using a burnup modified CANDLE strategy (Constant Axial shape of Neutron flux, nuclide densities and power shape During Life of Energy production). Calculation of reactor core conducted use CITATION module on the system SRAC code (Standard Reactor Analysis Code). Stage beginning study with count cell ingredient burn use PIJ module as input. Observed calculation parameters that is burnup level, infinite multiplication factor ( kinf ), conversion ratio, atomic density and effective multiplication factor ( keff ). Calculation result show keff value from the burning of life (BOL) cycle around 1.002662 with value reactivity 0.2654% to end cycle value keff of 1.041057 with value reactivity 3.9437%. Based onthese result, the the reactor core condition qualifies for operation.
