This study analyzes the design of a nuscale reactor with the shape of a pin cell, assembly, and core, with nuclear fuel in the form of uranium dioxide which is varied by changing the percentage from 0% to 7% using the OpenMC program. This research was conducted to obtain the reactor design and the calculation of the effective multiplication factor, reaction rate. and flux distribution for 2 years of combustion. The calculation results for the effective multiplication factor and reaction rate state that the greater the percentage of uranium enrichment, the greater the value for both parameters. While the distribution of neutron flux has the largest value in the middle region of the fuel. By doing this Nuscale reactor analysis which can later be used as a reference in the preparation of a safe and efficient reactor core.
