KANDUNGAN LOGAM BERAT KADMIUM (Cd) DAN TIMBAL (Pb) PADA DAGING IKAN BELANAK Liza melinoptera DI SEKITAR HUTAN LINDUNG AIR TELANG BANYUASIN, SUMATERA SELATAN
The downstream part of the Musi River, especially in the Telang Air Protection Forest (HLAT) has been degraded and converted into coconut plantations, settlements as well as shipping lanes for various types of ships. Heavy metals can naturally be found in aquatic environments, but in small amounts. Heavy metals cadmium (Cd) and lead (Pb) are several types of heavy metals that are very dangerous for aquatic organisms and humans. Mullet Liza melinoptera is a type of fish that uses estuary waters as its habitat, usually used by local people as food. This research was conducted from October 2021 to May 2022. Sampling was carried out around the waters of Muara Sugihan and the Barong River, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. Sample preparation was carried out at the Laboratory of the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Sriwijaya University. Heavy metal analysis was carried out at the Research and Industrial Standardization Center of South Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study was to measure the concentration of heavy metals Cd and Pb in Liza melinoptera mullet meat and compare the concentrations of Cd and Pb heavy metals in Liza melinoptera mullet meat around the Telang Banyuasin Water Protection Forest, South Sumatra with the threshold value set in PerBPOM. No. 5 of 2018. The method used is the measurement of heavy metal concentrations with an atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS) with data analysis based on the threshold value of the quality standard that has been set. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the heavy metal content of Cd in Liza melinoptera mullet meat at the first location point is 0.004 mg/kg and at the second location point is 0.005 mg/kg while for heavy metal Pb at the first location point is 1.1 mg. /kg and at the second location point is 1.26 mg/kg. And the heavy metal content of Cd in Liza melinoptera mullet meat has not exceeded the specified threshold value, while Pb levels in Liza melinoptera mullet meat have exceeded the threshold value, so it is dangerous for mullet and human genetics who consume meat. the fish.
