ANALISIS TRANSPORT SEDIMEN DI PELABUHAN BAKAUHENI MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE PEMODELAN NUMERIK MIKE 21
Bakauheni Port is the main connecting bridge between Java and Sumatra. Sedimentation processes that occur continuously around the port will cause silting of ponds and shipping lanes, causing difficulties in the port management system. This study aims to analyze sediment transport based on current velocity in 4 seasonal conditions using MIKE 21 numerical modeling software. The RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) values for tidal and current validation are 19.89% and 25.76%, respectively. The simulation results of the sediment transport model during the west monsoon show the total load x-component and the maximum total load y-component 2.65 x 10-12 m³/s/m and 1.97 x 10-11 m³/s/m, season transition I is 3 x 10-9 m³/s/m and -5.3 x 10-9 m³/s/m, east monsoon is 9 x 10-9 m³/s/m and 1, 4 x 10-8 m³/s/m, and transitional season II of -1,52 x 10-11 m³/s/m and 1.8 x 10-11 m³/s/m. Bakauheni Port area as has increased due in all seasons. The highest base elevation change occurs in the east monsoon with a value 0.004 meters.
