MORTAR GEOPOLIMER BERBAHAN DASAR NANO FLY ASH DENGAN VARIASI RASIO NA2SIO3 DAN NAOH
The geopolymer mortar in this study was made using nano fly ash, aktivator, and sand. This is done to reduce the use of cement to reduce CO2 waste generated from the formation or production of cement. In this mortar mixture, fly ash is used as a substitute for cement. The geopolyme mortar test object with a prekursor alkali ratio of 1.5 are composed of fly ash, ratio between the fine aggregate and fly ash was 2.75, and a 15 % of superplasticizer, variations in the ratio between Na2SiO3 and NaOH used were 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1.0. Mortar curing was carried out after removing the molded specimens for 3 days using an oven for 1 hour at a temperature of 60ºC. This study focused on the effect of the ratio of alkali aktivators. There are differences in compressive strength produced by geopolymer mortar due to the use of different aktivator ratios. The higher the ratio of alkali aktivator to the optimum ratio compressive strength and specific gravity will increase, but if the ratio of alkali aktivator used exceeds the optimum ratio, it will decrease. Specific gravity of the specimens MG-0.6, MG-0.7, MG-0.8, MG-0.9, MG-1.0 were 1678.32 kg/m3, 1707.32 kg/m3, 1786.11 kg/m3, 1729.06 kg/m3, 1684.91 kg/m3. The results of the average compressive strength of mortar at the age of 7 days were 9.30 MPa, 10.79 MPa, 12.06 MPa, 10.63 MPa, 10.09 MPa. and compressive strength at the age of 28 days were 10.20 MPa, 12.25 MPa, 12.98 MPa, 12.63 MPa, 10.78 MPa.
