DESAIN PROTOTYPE PERAHU LISTRIK TENAGA SURYA
This study aims to produce a solar electric boat that produces a propulsion system that uses solar panels, with several combinations of other electronic components. The design of the prototype solar electric boat is very simple because it only requires solar panels as the main tool to capture solar energy, solar panels also have various types, sizes and power generated depending on the need, the larger the size of the solar panels, the greater the power generated. The battery is used as a storage for energy produced by solar panels and the voltage will be regulated through the solar charge controller and also as a switch that is connected to a dynamo or DC motor as a boat engine so it is very easy to operate. The research methods used in this study are literature study, tool design, and research block diagrams. Based on the research results, the solar electric boat has a top speed of 1.7 km/hour where this speed is not affected by conditions in the river which can affect the speed of the boat. This electric boat has a buoyant force that is greater than the weight of the load, (Fa > W) so that the boat has an upward buoyancy, therefore the boat has high stability with a load of 1.200 Newtonss for two passengers.
