REHABILITASI SALURAN IRIGASI SEKUNDER DI DESA WONOSARI KECAMATAN PULAU RIMAU KABUPATEN BANYUASIN
Canal rehabilitation is one method to optimize or restore the function of the channel to restore the function. This research is located in Wonosari, Pulau Rimau District, Banyuasin Regency. Rice fields in Wonosari have a secondary channel that doubles as a carrier channel and a discharge channel. The problem that occurs in this channel is the occurrence of excessive water overflow to cover part of the agricultural area. The data used in this study are primary data taken directly at the SID OPLA activity in Banyuasin Regency in 2021 and secondary data in the form of rainfall data and climatological data obtained from the Kenten BMKG Station. This research uses hydrological analysis and hydraulics analysis. Hydrological analysis in the form of calculation of irrigation water needs, effective rainfall, and flood discharge, the period used for flood discharge is a return period of 1 year. For hydraulics analysis in the form of dimensional calculations and continued with simulations using HEC-RAS 4.1.0. Since this channel has a dual function, namely as a carrier and a discharger, a comparison of the largest dimensions between the carrier and the discharger is carried out, for the result that the largest is the secondary channel as the discharge. Then, the dimension data of the existing secondary channel is simulated by using HEC-RAS to observe overflow height. Next, the dimensions for rehabilitation are planned. For the final result, one of the channels is taken as in channel 1 which has an area of 46.09 ha with a discharge at 0.27 m3/s, then after rehabilitation the area is still the same and with a discharge at 0.52 m3/s and widened to 7 m and deepened to 2.5 m.
