Redesign of secondary irrigation channels in Mukut Village, located in Pulau Rimau District, Banyuasin Regency. The purpose of this channel redesign is to overcome problems that occur such as flooding and drought in rice fields in Mukut Village. This study uses primary data from field observations and secondary data from BMKG, Palembang city, Kenten station. This study uses two analyzes, namely hydrological analysis consisting of irrigation water requirements and flood discharge. while the hydraulics analysis consists of redesigned dimensions of secondary irrigation canals. The results of the study obtained a maximum water requirement of 1.22 lt/sec/ha with initial planting in October and a maximum flood discharge of 6.61 m3/sec, with a dual-function channel, the dimensions for the redesign of irrigation canals with a bottom width of 7 m and a channel height of 3 m. After knowing the design of the channel to be used, it is continued by finding the total excavation that will be carried out for the redesign of the channel. with the existing excavation, the estimated cost for redesigning this channel is Rp.461.851.000,00.
