ANALISIS KEKUATAN TEKAN DAN PERMEABILITAS PERVIOUS GEOPOLYMER CONCRETE DENGAN VARIASI RASIO ALKALI AKTIVATOR TERHADAP FLY ASH
Massive infrastructure development causes a lack of water supply areas in several places so that innovation is needed, namely pervious concrete. The material commonly used in pervious concrete is concrete without fine aggregate, namely coarse aggregate of uniform size, cement and water.CO2 emissionsby resulting from the production of cement for binding concrete mixes. Therefore, an alternative material to replace cement emerged, namely geopolymer. Geopolymer is a binder consisting of silica and alumina or usually used, namely fly ash and alkaline materials as activators. In order to overcome the lack of water catchment areas and the increasing global warming due to cement production due to CO2 gas emissions, the emergence of innovations regarding pervious geopolymer concrete made from environmentally friendly and functioning as concrete that can absorb water flow quickly with application in parking lots, slope stabilization and etc. This research is about the effect of the ratio of alkali activator to fly ash used on the optimum compressive strength, splitting strength, permeability, and porosity in geopolymer pervious concrete. From the results of the study the maximum compressive strength and splitting strength were found in the PGC45 mixture of 6.072 MPa and 1.050 MPa. The maximum porosity and permeability values obtained in the PGC35 mixture are 34.33% and 1.557 cm/second.
