EVALUASI PERSENTASE BATUBARA HALUS (FINE COAL) DI PT. DIZAMATRA POWERINDO, KABUPATEN LAHAT, SUMATERA SELATAN
PT. Dizamatra Powerindo is a coal mining unit located in Lahat Regency, South Sumatra. This company implements an open-pit mining system using strip mining. In production activities, it was found that fine coal measuring < 2 mm with a percentage of 16% was found in ready-to-sell products. The PLTU party provides conditions to PT. Dizamatra that the percentage of refined coal is below 10% in ready-to-sell products. In an effort to reduce refined coal, evaluation is needed in order to meet the requirements. The results of the actual field analysis proved that the high percentage of refined coal in ROM 2 Stockpile was 14.43%. Factors causing the presence of refined coal include cross ripping, repeated ripping, the influence of heavy equipment resulting from coal processing and activities, and operators. Efforts to reduce the percentage of refined coal include changing the ripping pattern to zig - zag single past, minimized performance of the Bulldozer D6T, extra performance from the Wheel Loader in ROM 2, changing the distance between grinding steel from 75 mm to 100 mm, the use of cutting edges on CAT backhoes. 330 on ROM 2 Stockpile and then got a value of 8.79% on ROM 2 Stockpile.
