PT Kalimantan Prima Persada is an integrated mining industry service company, PT Kalimantan Prima Persada is a member of the PT Pama Persada Nusantara group of companies. The work area of PT Kalimantan Prima Persada Jobsite PELH is divided into two parts, namely the West Pit and the East Pit, currently being worked on the East Pit of PT Asta Maharanita with an IUP area of 476 Ha. The method used is open pit. In January 2022 the production plan for overburden stripping activities in the East Pit was 395,000 bcm / month, while the realization was only 350.630,244 bcm / month or around 88.7 % of the targeted production plan. This study aims to evaluate the achievement of overburden production, constraints that affect the achievement of overburden production and evaluate efforts to increase overburden production. The results of direct observation in the field of actual productivity of Komatsu PC 1250 and Komatsu HD 785 amounted to 687.90 BCM/hour and 229.26 BCM/hour. The factor that affects the achievement of production is low work efficiency. There are 15 obstacles that affect work efficiency. The work efficiency time is 509.8 hours/month with 210.2 hours/month obstacles which cause low work efficiency. So efforts are made to minimize obstacles that can be avoided, namely daily maintenance checks at the beginning of the shift, rest and meal, and shift change. So after making improvements to the obstacles that can be avoided, the obstacle time is obtained at 178.13 hours / month.
